Loved it. Nice day away, little short walks to get to the tree house, and nature center right around the pathway. I really enjoyed this with my grandson. Very nice place to spend the day with the family. Kid friendly.
Incredible little preserve. I don't think many realize the beauty that is so close to them. It's a great safe place to walk. As of 11/2017, with winter approaching, I would recommend a hiking shoe or something able to keep out the water, as the trails outside of the paved areas are slightly messy, but easily passable. It's a wonderful place that id recommend year round. Also as of 11/2017 a northern portion if the preserve is still under construction for some reason. It may close a few trails, but won't lessen your experience.
Nice place to roam the trails. Have a tree house there built by The Tree Masters. May see small animals and deer there. I believe they have picnic tables there. There is a building you can enter and see taxidermy and small live critters.
really pretty place with nice trails. i was only inside the nature center for a moment, but it seemed really well done - and open on a friday morning, which hasn’t been the case for a couple nature centers i’ve been to. this seems like a lovely place to take children to, but also i felt like i was in my own little world while out on the trails, child-free.
One of the best places to take the kids to run around and burn some energy. Fun, easy hiking trails all across the property give you a glimpse at local wildlife. They also host a ton a great events for kids and families throughout the year, many of which are free or very inexpensive.
