Great place to work with! I bought a used car from them and it was a great experience. Very down to earth people and very reasonable. I'll be getting auto service from them and their prices are almost half the amount belle tire quoted me for!
I highly recommend American Auto Works in Burton, MI if any of you are having any issues with your car. I leave for Indiana tomorrow and well three days ago my car started making this disgusting noise and every time I would drive, my car sounded like I had popcorn popping underneath the hood lol so of course I went to American Auto Works to have my buddy Hector check it out. Even though Hector was completely booked this weekend he took the time to really listen to me talk about what was going on with my car. Well after a diagnostic check I had learned that my flywheel was broke which basically meant absolutely NO driving. At this point I was having a full blown panic attack because I was leaving in just two days so I had no idea if he could even fit me in or if I was going to have to leave another day. Hector looked at me and told me that he could fix it, and that I would be on the road in no time. He gave me hope. Sure enough, my car was finished a day before I had to leave and he offered a price that was unbelievably good! He treated me JUST like family. The work done on my car looked absolutely fantastic and he even showed me what was wrong with my car so I could actually SEE what he was talking about. This establishment is absolutely amazing and I cannot stress enough how grateful I am for Hector, and his wife Amy. Such a lovely place and even lovelier people. Best Mechanic ever! We took our 6 liter diesel to a certified Ford repair dealership repeatedly for the same problem and they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with it. Hector had it figured out and repaired in one day. He followed up after we took the truck home even. We feel like family. I would highly recommend American Auto Works to everyone!
Awesome experience! After getting 6 quotes they were the best. The atmosphere was great. I was coming in to pay the most to fix my car but they were all for me to save money. I do love the workers they were hilarious making me laugh. They made me feel comfortable and feel its a trustworthy place. Manager (Hector)was kind and thoughtful. He really wants to help people. I will totally recommend this place! I will also continue taking my vehicle here :)
